About Dr. Glenn Hunt, the photographer and neuroscientist
Glenn Hunt grew up near Los Angeles and after completing a bachelor’s degree in psychology, migrated to Australia. He gained a master’s and PhD from Sydney University and worked full time as an Associate Professor in psychiatry and pharmacology from 1975 until he retired in 2021. He is currently an Honorary Associate Professor, University of Sydney Medical School. He has published more than 250 peer-reviewed papers over his academic career in various areas including pharmacology, neuroscience, psychiatry and allied health.
Since his retirement, Glenn has been enjoying his life-long hobby learning the finer points of digital and film photography. The photos shown on this website are examples of his fine arts images taken over the years. They can be purchased by choosing the image or images and contacting me about the size of prints you what. I currently make my own digital prints on fine-art Canson paper, or black and white darkroom prints on fibre-based Ilford paper. The cost for postage is about $20 if ordered locally (Australia or New Zealand) and AUD$40 worldwide.
Glenn is a member and Vice President of Primrose Park Photography, Cremorne, NSW. If you live in Sydney and are interested in photography, come and join us at one of our monthly meetings (see details at www.primroseparkphotography.com). We perhaps have the last community darkroom in Sydney.
Please note there is another more famous Brisbane-based professional photographer with the same name as me. I am an amateur creative photographer with a much smaller photography portfolio but am a keen photographer with a life-time love of photography nonetheless. I hope you enjoy my web site.
